She writes regularly about family, motherhood, traditions, religion, cooking and food, education, and other such topics on her blog, <i>Leah's Thoughts</i>, as well as a variety of print and online publications nationally and in San Diego.
Aside from writing, Leah's other passion is photography and using photos to tell stories. That's right; she's the annoying family member and friend who is always capturing every moment on camera. When she's not writing, Leah enjoys cooking (and eating), reading, drinking coffee, browsing bookstores, and most importantly, spending time with her husband, daughter, two dogs, and cats.
She earned a master's degree in communication and bachelor's degree in journalism and political science, both from San Diego State University.
