Kinderhouse Montessori School

<p>Kinderhouse Montessori School serves children from 18 months old to elementary-school age; older children become guides for their younger peers. Children learn a variety of subjects during full and part-time schedules: reading, mathematics, history, zoology, botany, organic gardening and different languages, including Mandarin.</p> <p>The school design and curriculum are based on the research and principles of Dr. Maria Montessori, focused on creating a prepared environment that is "structured to maximize a child's independent learning and exploration."</p>
