Photos/Video: 6th Annual PQ Neighborhood Picnic & BBQ

Food, games and a dunk tank were the highlight's of this year's community event.

The PQ-NE Action Group hosted its 6th annual Neighborhood Picnic/BBQ at Rolling Hills Park in Rancho Peñasquitos on Sunday, with food, games, balloon animals and—the popular draw—a dunk tank.

The goal of the Action Group is to keep PQ residents in-the-know about activities and public safety in the community, with the annual picnic serving as the group's largest event of the year, said Cindy Krask, chair of the board of directors. The picnic is part-fundraiser-part-fun, with proceeds helping cover the cost of the picnic and administrative expenses throughout the year for the 501(c)3.
