What You Need to Know for the Fourth of July in Rancho Bernardo

Find out what's open/closed and where to go see fireworks around the county.

Happy Fourth of July!

Patch salutes all of our military servicemembers and veterans on this holiday. A number of celebrations are taking place across the county and right here in Rancho Bernardo.

Some other things you need to know:

County
All county offices, libraries and animal shelters will be closed Thursday but will resume normal hours on Friday. Open: county parks, campgrounds, neighborhood day-use parks. The 4S Ranch Sports Park office will be closed for regular business, but open for scheduled baseball games.

Courts
All San Diego Superior Court business offices and courtrooms will be closed on Thursday. They will resume normal hours on Friday, but note that business offices close at noon on Fridays.

City of San Diego
All city offices, recreation centers and libraries will be closed on Thursday. Trash collection will be delayed one day. Normal collection will resume Monday, July 10. [See a full list of city open/closed schedules attached to this story.]
