This summer, let the kids stretch out, but instead of on the couch, at the Dailey Method.
The local ballet barre studio is offering summer for the kiddos. Kids aged 5-10 can take the one-hour yoga classes each week to help improve their flexibility, concentration, coordination, self-confidence, sleeping patterns, immune system and more. Stephani Firenze, who owns the Rancho Bernardo-Poway studio, said in a news release that these yoga classes are perfect for parents who want an hour to themselves, but still want to show their kids the importance of fitness.
“With summer upon us, this is a great program that allows moms the opportunity to drop off their school-age children for yoga while they workout in the adjacent studio,” Firenze said. “Additionally, we offer onsite childcare for younger children making it easy to make fitness a priority for the whole family.”
Whether your kid loves yoga or you want them to reap the benefits of it, these classes will be a healthy addition to your child's summer. The classes begin June 19 and will take place every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.
The summer program will run through August. Each class is $10 and a 10-pack of classes can be purchased for $90 at the studio. For more information, visit thedaileymethod.com/rbpoway.html or contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
