Golf Fest Swings Into RB; Shows Off Newest Golf Technology

On March 15 and 16, avid golfers can improve their game at Oaks North Golf Course at a special event.

Practice that putt and warm up your drive! Rancho Bernardo's Oaks North Golf Course has an upcoming event that will show off the latest innovative technology in all-things golf.

Golf Fest will hit the links on March 15 and 16 at our local golf course and will feature big name lineups, like TaylorMade, Nike, Cleveland/Srixon, PING, Cobra, Wilson, Adams, and Yonex.

The event will feature 60 vendors that will show off their newest breakthrough products in golf. Golf attendees can try their swing on TaylorMade's new R1 Driver; Nike’s VR_S Covert club line; the AMP Cell and AMP Cell Pro drivers from Cobra; PING’s Scottsdale TR putters; and Cleveland Golf’s 588 RTX and 588 RTX CB wedges.

“These top tier companies represent the biggest names in golf and we are beyond thrilled to have them at Golf Fest,” Golf Fest Director Michael Nesbit said in a press release. “They will showcase their expansive 2013 equipment lineups offering attendees an opportunity to experience the latest technological advances in club design with hands-on testing right on the driving range.”

PGA pro and world-renowned golf trick shot artist, Peter Longo, will be at the two-day event performing his amazing golf trick shot show. Golf Fest will also offer up free lessons and golf swing video analysis by JC Golf Academy and free driving range use to test out the latest club and ball technology.

For those who excel in putting, there will be a challenge with a $50,000 prize and for those who excel in beer drinking, craft suds will be available both days in the Beer Garden, which will benefit the Lorena Ochoa Golf Foundation.

Multiple giveaway packages can be won and the first 250 paid attendees each day will also receive a two-pack of Bridgestone golf balls.
