Whiz Kids: Local Grads from Francis Parker School
Four students from Rancho Bernardo and one from Rancho Peñasquitos graduated last week.
Names: Gage Kent, Corinne Morris, Joseph Rote, Joshua Yeh (Rancho Bernardo) and Eric Norman, from Rancho Peñasquitos.

Francis Parker School graduated 120 high school seniors this year, including four from Rancho Bernardo and one from Rancho Peñasquitos. The Class of 2011 heads off with a number of accomplishments under its belt. According to the school, in this year's class:
- Average grade point average (GPA) was 3.75 on a 4-point scale.
- Average SAT score: 1,877 on a 2,400-point scale.
- College acceptance rate: 57 percent.
- Admitted to first or second choice college: 91 percent.
The commencement ceremony was held June 4 at the Linda Vista campus.
