PUSD Special Meeting Monday to Address Bond Report

The board is meeting at 5 p.m. Monday to discuss an independent investigation into the controversial billion-dollar bond.

The Poway Unified School District Board of Education has scheduled a special meeting for 5 p.m. Monday to discuss a bond investigation report.

The meeting will be held at the district office, 15250 Avenue of Science, San Diego.

The report examines how the district came to issue a series of bonds to finance school repairs that are projected to cost taxpayers nearly $1 billion to repay. The report, by ESI International, Inc., largely applauds the district's decision-making.
