New PUSD Website to Help Homeowners Verify Tax Bills

A new interactive website from the Poway Unified School District should help homeowners make sure they are being charged the correct amount for district-related property taxes, according to a KPBS/inewsource report.
The website is a response to a KPBS/inewsource investigation that found many homeowners were being overcharged for Mello-Roos taxes, which help fund school construction and repairs. The website is expected to be live by the end of the week, according to the report.
