Supervisor Jacob Endorses Dumanis
Supervisor Dianne Jacob said Dumanis has the leadership skills San Diego needs right now.
San Diego County Supervisor Dianne Jacob, of District 2, endorsed District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis for mayor of San Diego on Thursday.
Dumanis' campaign sent out the following statement from Jacob:
“As District Attorney, Bonnie’s been an integral part of the County team for nine years and I’ve seen her usher in a new era of efficiency, creativity and improved morale to her department."

“Together, we’ve held the line against destructive budget cuts proposed by the state. Bonnie knows how to prioritize and protect core public services, like critical infrastructure and public safety. These are exactly the kind of leadership skills the city needs right now."
Dumanis said she was "very grateful" for the support.
