RB Public Safety Survey Under Way

The Public Safety Committee is gathering residents' thoughts about security issues in Rancho Bernardo.

The Public Safety Committee of the Rancho Bernardo Community Council is asking residents to send in their thoughts and concerns about safety in RB.

Recently, the committe has been hosting workshops about senior scams throughout the community. The most recent, which dealt with phone scams and tax fraud, was . Another one is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Seven Oaks Community Center.

The Rancho Bernardo Public Safety Committee is conducting a "Safety and Security Survey" of all Rancho Bernardo residents.

The Rancho Bernardo Public Safety Committee is seeking any feedback and input from residents regarding their Safety and Security issues and concerns. This information is important as it serves as a guide to better assist in the safety and well being of the community.

The Mission Statement of the Rancho Bernardo Public Safety Committee is:

"The Rancho Bernardo Public Safety Committee works in conjunction with Police and Fire Department, the Office of Emergency Services, the County and City of San Diego, as well as our local RSVP and Neighborhood Watch in dealing with the safety and security of our community.  The Public Safety Committee’s goal is to help educate and prepare the community in the event of any emergency situation."
