DeMaio Wants to Double Arts Funding

Councilman Carl DeMaio, who is running for mayor, said he wants to increase city funding for arts and culture programs.

If he becomes mayor, San Diego City Councilman Carl DeMaio plans to double funding for arts and culture program, the candidate said during a mayoral forum on Monday, according to Voice of San Diego.

"I actually intend to double the funding for arts and culture during my two terms as mayor," VOSD quotes the councilman as saying.
