SDPD DUI Checkpoint Set for Saturday
Officers will be on the lookout for drunken drivers.
The San Diego Police Department plans to hold a DUI checkpoint at an undisclosed location in the city between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m. Saturday.
Officers will be conducting field sobriety tests for drivers who have been drinking or appear to be impaired. Such checks are conducted periodically throughout the city and are funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.
