Rancho Bernardo Crime Log: Vandals Do Damage, ‘Crime of Opportunity’

The following incidents were reported in the Rancho Bernardo area between July 4-10, according to CrimeMapping.com.

July 4: Vandalism was reported on Deer Ridge Road and Honeybrook Avenue. The damage was estimated at $400 or more.

July 5: Vandalism 
was reported on the 12400 block of Avenida Consentido. The damage was estimated to be less than $1,000. 

July 5: Commercial burglary 
was reported on the 16400 block of Bernardo Center Drive.

July 5: Fraud
was reported on the 17500 block of Granite Drive.

July 6: Residential burglary was reported on the 12100 block of Royal Lytham Row.

July 6: Battery on a person 
was reported on the 17500 block of Bernardo Oaks Drive.

July 6: Commercial burglary
 was reported on the 14300 block of Penasquitos Drive. A weapon was reportedly used.

July 7: Vehicle break-in/theft was reported on the 17000 block of Bernardo Center Drive.

July 7: Vandalism
 was reported on the 13500 block of Camino del Sur. The damage was estimated to be less than $1,000.

July 10: Assault was reported on the 10100 block of Carmel Mountain Road. The incident was described as felony battery with serious bodily injury.
