Rancho Bernardo Credit Union is Robbed

A stubble-faced man sporting a dark do-rag underneath a baseball cap robbed a Rancho Bernardo credit union office today, authorities reported.

A stubble-faced man sporting a dark do-rag underneath a baseball cap robbed a Rancho Bernardo credit union office today, authorities reported.

The thief handed a demand note to a teller at the San Diego County Credit Union branch in the 11900 block of Bernardo Plaza Drive shortly before 10:30 a.m., according to San Diego police.

The bandit, who fled to the north with an undisclosed amount of money, was described as an unshaven, roughly 5-foot-7-inch, 170-pound man in his early to mid-20s. He wore baggy jeans and a long-sleeved shirt, SDPD Officer Frank Cali said.
