Party Guests Witness Friend Crash Motorcycle Into Parked Car

The 22-year-old was riding without a helmet when he lost control and was seriously injured.

A 22-year-old man riding a motorcycle without a helmet in front of a group of friends outside a party on Sunday suffered a broken neck after he lost control of the bike and hit a parked car, according to police.

The man was riding the 2007 Yamaha in the 1800 block of Paseo Lucido near Bernardo Heights Parkway just after 5 p.m. when he accelerated quickly, lost control and hit a parked car. The San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division is investigation the crash.

The injured rider’s name was not released.
