FBI, SDPD Seek Help With Identifying Local Bank Robber

Witnesses describe the suspect as a black 25-year-old male.

The FBI said the agency and San Diego Police Department are asking for help from the public to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing a Scripps Ranch Chase Bank last Friday.

According to the agency, a male entered the bank branch, located at 10541 Scripps Poway Pkwy., on March 29 around 5:09 p.m. and waited in the teller line. Upon reaching the teller’s window, the robber presented a demand note for cash, which threatened serious bodily injury to the teller if they did not comply with the demand, the FBI said.

The robber demanded cash from another teller who was working next to the first teller and received money and fled.
