San Diego Police Canyon Brush Fire in Scripps Ranch has been knocked down by the Fire Department. The boundaries are Canyon Lake Drive to the North, Scripps Ranch Blvd to the South and Aviary Dr. to the east. Evacuations were made to 10500 Canyon Lake Dr.

Crews are working to extinguish a brush fire off Scripps Ranch Boulevard, near Canyon Lake Drive in northern San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It's not immediately clear if any structures are threatened.
