Two masked gunmen robbed a taco shop in Rancho Penasquitos early Wednesday, police said.
The armed robbery at MXN Taco Shop at 12865 Rancho Penasquitos Blvd. was reported at 1:08 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.
The men each wore black ski masks and gloves as they entered the store with black handguns and demanded cash, he said in a statement. They fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was hurt.
A similar robbery was reported early Tuesday, when two men armed with handguns robbed Roberto's Taco Shop at 4770 Voltaire St. in Ocean Beach around 4 a.m.. Police said those men may have fled in a black sedan, possibly a Buick of Lincoln.
