Rancho Bernardo celebrated 50 years as a planned community in San Diego with a birthday bash on Saturday, bringing together the community and elected officials—both past and present. 

Special guests "Elvis" and "Marilyn Monroe" also were on-hand for the party, with the latter singing Happy Birthday in the way, perhaps, only she can.
