Quake Shakes Rancho Bernardo Thursday Night

A 3.3 quake was reported just after 11 p.m. Thursday.

A 3.3 earthquake hit four miles south-southwest of the Palomar Observatory just after 11 p.m. Thursday night, frightening some North County residents, including a woman in Rancho Bernardo, according to U-T San Diego.

RB resident Helen Wagenseller told the newspaper she "felt more scared from the quake than she did from hurricanes" she had experienced in Florida.
