  • Westwood Elementary School students raised an estimated $15,000 through the PTA's annual Fun Run on Friday. We've got from the event!
  • On Saturday, Soroptimist International of RB , including RB Hall of Famer Jane Radatz, for their work in the community.
  • The newly elected and re-elected members of the RB Planning Board will begin their terms in April, it was announced Saturday. The board had planned to install them at a special meeting Thursday but tabled the agenda after noting that the bylaws say the new board takes over in April.

This Week

  • The RB Community Council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the RB Library, 17110 Bernardo Center Dr. On the agenda: redistricting.
  • There is less than one month left until this year's extended tax deadline (April 18). Check out our for some helpful hints and keep an eye out this week for more.
  • The San Diego City Council will meet at 2 p.m. Monday. On the agenda: an information item on the June 30, 2010 actuarial valuation by the San Diego City Employees’ Retirement System.
  • National Weather Service forecast: Rain on Monday, Wednesday night, Thursday night and Friday; Mostly sunny on Tuesday with a high near 61º.
