Gas Prices Drop Slightly

Gas prices have dropped slightly two of the past three days.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped one-tenth of cent Tuesday to $4.106, its second slight increase in three days.

The average price dropped three-tenths of a cent Monday, the first decrease since July 29 and largest since July 12, then rose four-tenths of a cent on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is nine-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 32.4 cents higher than one month ago and 38.5 cents greater than one year ago.
