The Rancho Bernardo Community Council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Thursday on the second floor of the Rancho Bernardo Library, 17110 Bernardo Center Dr.

On the agenda:

  • Guest speaker: Midori Wong, the chief of staff for the City of San Diego 2010 Redistricting Committee, will explain what redistricting is and why it matters to RB residents.
  • Discussion of the new RB welcome sign issue.
  • Update on the sidewalk chalk event.
  • Update on the coming elections for new members.
