Dense Fog & Rain Expected Monday

Prepare for a low visibility on local roads.

Dense fog and rain are expected in San Diego County on Monday, forecasters said.

Visibility will drop to a quarter-mile or less at times in fog-shrouded coastal, valley and mountain areas this morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters said southwest winds would sweep mountain areas Monday, gusting at 25 miles per hour.

Highs today will be in the mid-60s in coastal and valley areas, mid-50s to mid-60s in the mountains and high 70s to low 80s in the deserts, according to the NWS.
