SD Restaurant Week is Back for a Bite

San Diego Restaurant Week is back from Jan. 15-20, with more than 170 restaurants around the county offering reduced prices for multi-course meals.

Locally, at 15717 Bernardo Heights Pkwy. is participating with $20 lunch and $40 dinner options. (For a full list of participating restaurants, see here.)

Lunch Menu*:

First Course Options

• Bisque de Legumes (vegetable soup)
• Salad Verte (mesclum salad)
• Ravioles de Legumes (portabello mushroom raviolis in a ratatouille sauce)

Second Course Options

• Bar (seabass with a sauce canoise)
• Coq au vin (chicken in a red wine sauce)
• Steak Frites (prime top sirloin and french fries)

Dinner Menu*

First/Appetizers Course Options

• Lobster Bisque (lobster soup)
• Salad de Chevre Chaud (warm goat cheese, butter lettuce and vinaigrette)
• Riz de Veau (crispy sweetbreads in a wild mushroom ragout)

Second/Main Course Options

• Poisson Blanc from Lac Superior (white fish from Lake Superior in vermouth sauce with vegetable medley)
• Canard a l'Orange (duck breast with an orange sauce)
• Petites Cotes de Boeuf (stewed short ribs in red wine sauce with mushrooms, onions, bacon, carrots and celery)

Third/Dessert Course Options

• Creme Brulee au Grand Marnier (Grand Marnier creme brulee)
• Chocolate Terrine with Fruits Rouges (chocolate cake with red fruits and creme anglaise)
• Crepes Suzette (crepes suzette with an orange sauce)

Other Options

• Poitrine d'Agneau (lamb loin with a rosemary sauce)

*Vegetarian options available for both lunch and dinner.
