Rancho Bernardo Inn Earns AAA Four Diamond Honors

The inn has been recognized as the Southern California hotel with the longest streak of Four Diamond ratings.

No Southern California hotel has maintained a Four Diamond rating longer than the Rancho Bernardo Inn, according to AAA, which rates hotels.

“We’re proud to recognize and applaud the Rancho Bernardo Inn in 2012 as the longest continuously rated AAA Four Diamond rated hotel in Southern California," said Patricia Marenco, The Auto Club's approved accomodations supervisor, in a statement. "The inn’s employees provide their guests—from local couples and families to out of town visitors—very personalized service in a beautiful environment."

RB Inn, at 17550 Bernardo Oaks Dr., has maintained the four out of five diamond rating since 1977, the longest in Southern California and third-longest run statewide. This puts it among the top 3.8 percent of 59,000 hotels and restaurants inspected by AAA and its affiliate, The Auto Club.

“The Automobile Club of Southern California has been an integral part of the Southland’s fabric for 112 years, and we’re delighted to be such a long-standing AAA Four Diamond member,” Rancho Bernardo Inn General Manager John Gates said in a statement. “Our amazing staff is the reason we’re recognized with Four Diamonds, year after year. We’re looking forward to another 35 years!”
