Nearly 1,200 Rancho Bernardo and Rancho Penasquitos customers are without power Monday night.
According to SDG&E, 1,193 customers lost power around 7:55 p.m. The outage was caused by a suspected problem in the overhead electrical system.
The estimated restoration time is 9:55 p.m.
