Northrop Grumman—the defense company with an office in Rancho Bernardo—will cut 590 positions, according to U-T San Diego.
The employees—with 35 in San Diego County—will accept buyouts. The company stated the cuts are a part of a "voluntary layoff program," according to the newspaper.
