San Diego native and former Mount Carmel High School student Adam Lambert scored his first chart-topping album this week with Trespassing, bumping another former American Idol contender from the No. 1 spot.
Lambert's album sold 77,000 in its opening week, enough to knock country star and former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood from the top, according to Billboard.com.
