Adam Lambert Lands First No. 1 Album

The San Diego native bumped another former American Idol contestant from the top of the charts.

San Diego native and former Mount Carmel High School student Adam Lambert scored his first chart-topping album this week with Trespassing, bumping another former American Idol contender from the No. 1 spot.

Lambert's album sold 77,000 in its opening week, enough to knock country star and former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood from the top, according to Billboard.com.
