Take Your 'Hats Off' to Rancho Bernardo Volunteers This Weekend

More than 70 local volunteers will be honored at Webb Park on April 20.

More than 70 Rancho Bernardo volunteers will be honored this weekend at the annual Hats Off to Volunteers event.

The Saturday event, which is in its fourth year, will be held on Saturday, April 20 in Webb Park from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Hats Off to Volunteers, in association with the Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation, recognizes outstanding volunteers from organizations throughout Rancho Bernardo in 10 different categories, like schools, service clubs, youth sports, organizations serving seniors and veterans, health and safety groups, civic groups, groups promoting arts and education and even homeonwer groups.

The event is free and open to all.

Afterward, the Rancho Bernardo Business Assocation will hold their Second Annual Bob Wells Memorial Rubber Ducky Race at 11 a.m.

The person whose duck crosses the finish line first receives a $500 check from
the association, which sponsors the event held in memory of one of RB's most celebrated leaders, Bob Wells.
