Rancho Bernardo Community Council to Discuss Coyotes

Experts will provide tips for residents should they encounter a coyote.

The Rancho Bernardo Community Council will meet to discuss how to handle these creatures should you spot one.

The council’s website mentions increased coyote sightings in the area and expressions of concern from the community regarding the safety of themselves and their pets.

Experts from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife will answer questions and provide tips on how to deter coyotes from property.

The meeting will take place Thursday, Aug. 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Rancho Bernardo Library, 17110 Bernardo Center Drive.
