Free Seminar Explores Various Medical Career Choices

Find out what it's like to become a genetic counselor, physical therapist and more tonight at the DoubleTree in Rancho Penasquitos at 6 p.m.

Does your heart beat fast for all-things medical? Solutions—Exploring Success Post High School is holding a seminar tonight (Feb. 26) in Rancho Penasquitos for those interested in working in the medicine field.

A panel of representatives from various jobs in the medical field will be sharing their experiences and answering questions at the DoubleTree by Hilton Golf Resort in Rancho Penasquitos.

The seminar is part of a series of talks put on by the nonprofit organization and will explore careers you're familiar with, as well as those more unknown to the public.

Here are some of the career explorations attendees can expect at tonight's event:

  • Genetic counselor
  • Surgeon
  • Doctors of sports medicine
  • Physical therapist
  • Chemist
  • Nurse
  • Radiation therapist
  • Occupational therapist

The event will begin promptly at 6 p.m. with a meet and greet at the DoubleTree located at 14455 Penasquitos Dr. A Q&A session will follow.
