Black Friday Barnes & Noble Bookfair to Benefit RB Library

The Friends of the RB Library have partnered with the Carmel Mountain Barnes & Noble for a holiday bookfair.

Your Black Friday shopping this year could help out a friend.

The Rancho Bernardo Friends of the Library—a volunteer arm that raises money for the RB Library—will receive a portion of Black Friday sales at the Barnes & Noble on Carmel Mountain Road this year.

From Friday, Nov. 23 through Sunday, Nov. 25, customers can mention the RB Friends and ID No. 10926996 at the Carmel Mountain store to link their purchase into the bookfair. If navigating the crowds isn't in your plans this weekend, you can also go online to bn.com and make a purchase using the same ID No.

On the bottom of the online payment page, check the box that says "Is this a bookfair order?" and type in the ID No. in the space provided (see the attached flyer for step-by-step directions and a list of excluded items). The online bookfair lasts from Friday, Nov. 23 until Friday, Nov. 30.

The Carmel Mountain Barnes & Noble is located at 11744 Carmel Mountain Rd.

Hours this weekend:

Friday, Nov. 23 (Black Friday): 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 24: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 25: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Regarding Patch's response to this comment: A 'typo' is when someone hits the wrong key on theRead More keyboard, like typing "Democrut" or "Demacrat." Calling a Democrat a Republican is a MISTAKE and party affiliation is very easy to check check these days. Maybe this is just a "blog," I'm not sure. But if it's a "news site", and the people writing stories are purporting to be "journalists" or "reporters" could easily do better and should do so. Let's not minimize a factual error in a "news" story as a "typo."

I think that Fletcher flip-flops partially because he is looking for means to bring HIS politics toRead More the table.

This was a typo and it's been fixed. We apologize for the error.
