The Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation Invites Nonprofits to Apply for 2013-2014 Grants

The Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation (RBCF), an affiliate of The San Diego Foundation, has released its 2013 Grant Guidelines. The focus this year is on providing a safe and healthy community for the residents of Rancho Bernardo.

 

“The Foundation is looking for projects that address safety and the health, well-being and self sufficiency of individuals and families in the community of Rancho Bernardo,” said Kevin Martin, chair of the foundation’s grants committee. “We’re particularly interested in programs that teach about substance abuse prevention, anti - bullying, making positive choices, and reducing obesity.”

“The Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation seeks to protect and improve the quality of life in Rancho Bernardo, and I am excited to see how our community’s organizations create programs that enhance that quality of life,” said Nick Anastasopoulos , Chair of The Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation. “This grants focus is giving Rancho Bernardo the opportunity to focus on the well-being of the residents of our great community.”

HOW:                       

The Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation will fund programs managed by non-profit organizations, schools, or government agencies that demonstrate a benefit to Rancho Bernardo community residents.  The Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation will accept proposals in a range of $1,500 up to $10,000. The deadline for application submission is Monday, September 16, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.

The Foundation is also releasing the Community Partner grants applications for those organizations that have received CP grants in the past.
