THE NEW RB NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH IS GROWING

Rancho Bernardo Neighborhood Watch’s goal is to provide RB residents with education and training on safety awareness, security and disaster preparedness.  RBNHW is listening to the residents and has reinstated the positions of District Coordinators in Rancho Bernardo.  The District Coordinator is the “go to person” for your district.  Under our new sponsorship, we are limited to a small number of volunteers who are selected by our sponsor and our governing committee i.e., RBNHW will not be reinstating the Area Coordinators or Block Captains.  If individual neighborhoods feel the need for such positions in their neighborhood, the decision is up to the individual neighborhoods. If you have any neighborhood watch concerns or questions you can contact your district coordinator on Nextdoor.com or you can contact the RBNHW office.  We currently have District Coordinators for Westwood - Robin Kaufman, Eastview- Marcus Ross and Seven Oaks – Stella Logan.  RBNHW is currently seeking dedicated, active volunteers to fill the remaining District Coordinator positions in Swim and Tennis, Oaks North, Bernardo Heights and High Country West.  RBNHW is also seeking volunteers for upcoming events.

RBNHW is utilizing Nextdoor.com as a communication tool to help neighborhoods communicate in real time.  RBNHW and the RB Community Council recently had a workshop for residents to learn how to use Nextdoor.com. Kathy Stadler, the San Diego Field Organizer conducted the training and it was a success!

RBNHW will continue to provide education, training workshops and materials to the community.  The office is located at 17110 Bernardo Center Drive, 2nd Floor of the library and will remain open as a resource for the community.
