SDSU Online Health Care Courses

Occupations and industries related to health care are projected to add the most new jobs in the U.S. during the 10-year period ending in 2022, according to the latest projections by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The BLS reports: “The health care and social assistance sector is projected to grow at an annual rate of 2.6 percent, adding 5.0 million jobs between 2012 and 2022. This accounts for nearly one-third of the total projected increase in jobs (nationwide).”

 

San Diego State University’s College of Extended Studies is offering both in-class and online professional health care certificate programs year-round to help individuals prepare for these in-demand careers. Summer semester courses are exclusively online and include:

SDSU’s College of Extended Studies has programs that will qualify students to enter the health care field in as little as six months. These courses are hands-on and teach practical and needed skills, and are scheduled for working adults and taught by industry experts.
