Capstone Course in Marketing and Media Coming at SDSU

The capstone course Generating Advertising and Marketing Campaigns That Work for the Professional Certificate in Marketing and Media program through SDSU’s College of Extended Studies will take place on Wednesdays, July 24-Aug. 14, 6-9 pm.

In this culmination course, the entire class becomes a virtual full service marketing and advertising agency, selects a business to pitch, and creates the plan and campaign to win the business. Key topics include: the campaign planning system, the creative process, the client’s situation analysis, branding, positioning, and the big idea.     

Instructor Jennifer Personette is vice president of account planning and client services at the Agency San Diego.

Students are encouraged to register early. Cost of the course is $279 or $299 after July 17. The cost for San Diego Ad Club members is $269.
