Back-to-School Shopping, Shark Week and Friday Farmers Market

1. Fresh Food Friday. Buy fresh local produce, enjoy a tamale or indulge in a crepe. The Friday Farmers Market will start at 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the Bernardo Winery. 

2. Dance Party for Toddlers. Move, groove and dance with your toddler at the library. Tiny Movers with Evolve is a program offered at the library to help with children's coordination and rhythm. The program will start at 10:30 a.m. today at the Rancho Bernardo Library.

3. Take a bite out of Shark Week.  Birch Aquarium will offer Shark Summer Activities from 10 a.m.to 4 p.m. Sea Life Aquarium at Legoland will celebrate Shark Week today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

4. Back-to-School Shopping. The first day is school right around the corner. If your tweens or teens are looking for the latest fashion trends, the Westfield North County Mall will host ‘Unlock the Fun.’ The fashion and beauty event will be from Noon to 6 p.m on Saturday, Aug. 24 and Saturday Aug. 25.
