Best question EVER! I was at the RB candidate forum, and I was appalled that this is the fourthRead Morecan didate forum I've been to where Carl didn't show up. I'm sure there have been many more. He simply refuses to be anywhere where the other candidates might challenge him on the issues. However, we already know the answer to that question. It was obvious by his appearance on The O'Reilly Factor the other day that he is uncomfortable talking about anything that challenges his mantra about "fixing Congress," whatever that really means. He tried several times to deflect the questions Bill asked him about the campaign, about his background, etc., but Bill didn't let him get away with it. Of course, Carl never answered a direct question. Does he ever? And he came across as someone who can't look you straight in the eyes and give you an honest answer to a direct question. THAT is why he won't debate. If all three candidate were ever to appear on the same dais together, his discomfort and dissimulation would be more than obvious, and Kirk Jorgensen's honesty and straightforward nature would put him to shame. Anyone, even those who may still be considering voting for him, would know instantly who they'd want representing them, and it wouldn't be Carl. It would clearly be the most honorable and most principled candidate in the room, and that would be Kirk.

Agree with yu, Karen! There are normally 3 reasons why some people can't face up to theirRead Moreopponents . 1. Lack of real knowledge ~ fear of being challenged. 2. The person is a coward ~ cowards always run away in fear of being asked to do thing which that cowardly person can't do. 3. there are two folds: like to see what others have to say, to learn, then, twist everything around to make them sounded WRONG. to learn how to attack from the BACK! normally they are dishonest people!
